The following page includes a matrix of Cub Scout Pack volunteer positions, position codes and a description of what is expected from each position. It also includes a link to specific training for each position.

Chartered Org Rep*
Represent the Chartered Organization, help facilitate good communications between Pack and Chartering Organization, set up or identify service projects and help with approval of leadership.

Secretary*
Attends monthly committee meeting and takes minutes. Keeps a record of all pack committee meetings to keep all members informed and uptodate.

New Membership Coordinator
Maintains the Member Handbook, communicates and connects with new members to help get them plugged into the Pack and den. Attends monthly committee meetings.

Communications Chair
Assist Cubmasters with communications, email/text messaging in Scoutbook or other tools, social media, etc.

Tiger Den Leader*
Plan weekly meetings for about one hour with a den of six to eight first graders and their adult partners. Assure the den meeting is held at an appropriate location and time. Attends monthly committee meeting.

Youth Protection Champion
Plan weekly meetings for about one hour with a den of six to eight youth. Assure the den meeting is held at an appropriate location and time. Attends monthly committee meeting.

Pinewood Derby Chair
Assist Cubmasters with planning and execution of the Pinewood Derby Workshop and the Pinewood Derby (held annually in January).

Pack Quartermaster
Organizes, keeps a record and checks in and checks out all. pack equipment as needed. Must be organized, responsible and keep good records. They also make recommendations to the Pack Committee Aware of items the pack needs

Committee Chair*
Conducts monthly committee meeting to help plan program. Ensures that committee members give adequate support for running the program to support the Cubmaster and Den Leaders. Helps recruit additional leaders as needed.

Pack Trainer
Ensures training opportunities for all leadership and helps to get everyone fully trained. Attends monthly committee meeting to report and support.

Outdoor Activities Coordinator
Assist Cubmasters with planning campouts.

Cubmaster*/Assistant Cubmaster
Conducts monthly Pack meeting. Aids Den Leaders by coordinating monthly program for all leaders. Attends monthly committee meeting. Has one or more assistants.
Assistant Cubmaster helps Cubmaster as needed to help den leaders, set up and clean up before/after meetings, plan the pack programming and also helps with the Den Chief program.

Wolf and Bear

Used Uniform Coordinator
Help organize, collect and distribute used Class A uniforms.

Crossing Over Liaison
Coordinates with Troops on Webelos to Scout transition, Crossing Over ceremonies and other combined events.

Treasurer
Maintains Pack financials and provides treasurer reports to monthly committee meeting. Responsible for collecting pack dues and keep accounting of all moneys from fundraising.

Popcorn Kernel
Coordinates the annual popcorn fundraiser by attending Council kickoff events, setting up show and sell events, ordering show and sell product and training parents and scouts on selling online.

Advancement Coordinator
Purchase awards at the Scout Store each month, organize the awards and bring them to the monthly pack meetings. They also talk regularly with Den Leaders and update progression of Cub Scout Advancement on Scoutbook.
